This 350W KNOKOO fume extractor has a 4-layer filter system, and when I used it, the smell of the laser at work was gone. These smells used to bother me, and I was afraid they would hurt my lungs. I bought it for my health. When I first received it, I contacted them to use it correctly, and their service staff was very good at contacting me quickly. I received all the required information and guidance.

got it for my 50w OMTech polar and it works great. have it in my apartment and it is in one room and I have a Dyson fan in the other room with a PPM sensor and it doesn't change at all when using the laser cutting 3mm wood so I know its working and I am only running it at 40% power so maybe overkill but at 40% power its really quite. there is no smell from the laser cutter about 5 feet away from it. now its just a matter of how long the filters last.

Since I do a lot of metal cutting with laser which I do it indoor, I purchased this purifier and works great. Motor is super quiet, and it is super speedy and strong. There is a digital screen on the unit, so I can adjust the speed. Furthermore, hose is included which very flexible, so adjusting is easy. Highly recommended.

FES350 Fume Extractor — Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Section 1: Applications & Filtration Efficiency
Q1: What are the primary application scenarios for the FES350 Fume Extractor?
A: The FES350 is engineered for light-to-medium fume, dust, and odor extraction across various industrial, medical, and laboratory environments:
Electronics Soldering: Captures hazardous rosin smoke and fumes generated during hand soldering, soldering pots, and wave soldering.
Laser Processing: Filters smoke and particulate dust from low-to-medium power laser marking, engraving, and cutting (e.g., acrylic, wood, leather, paper).
Beauty & Physical Therapy: Extracts smoke and organic odors produced during Moxibustion therapy, laser skin resurfacing, and freckle removal procedures.
Laboratory & Chemical Testing: Localized extraction of trace volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and airborne particulate matter.
Q2: How efficient is the FES350 at removing particulate dust and odors?
A: The FES350 utilizes a 4 stage progressive filtration system. It achieves a 99.97% purification rate for airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns (via high-efficiency particulate filters). The high-capacity activated carbon stage effectively adsorbs toxic volatile gases (such as formaldehyde, benzene, sulfur dioxide) and noxious odors, allowing purified air to be safely recirculated indoors.
Section 2: Installation & Operation
Q3: Does the FES350 require complex assembly upon delivery?
A: No. The FES350 is a plug-and-play standalone unit:
Unpack the unit and attach the flexible extraction arm/duct and hood.
Position the extraction hood directly above the fume source (optimal distance: 5–15 cm).
Connect to a standard power supply (220V/110V) and turn on the power switch.
Q4: What is the operating noise level of the unit?
A: Equipped with a brushless DC motor and built-in acoustic attenuation system, the FES350 operates at a noise level between 60 dB under standard operating airflow.
Q5: Is the airflow rate adjustable?
A: Yes. The unit features a digital control panel, allowing operators to seamlessly adjust suction power based on the volume of fume generated—optimizing both purification efficiency and energy consumption.
Section 3: Filter Maintenance & Replacement
Q6: What filter stages are built into the FES350, and what are their functions?
A: The FES350 incorporates a 4-stage filtration system:
Pre-Filter : Traps large particulate dust and debris to protect and extend the lifespan of downstream filters.
HEPA Filter: High-efficiency particulate air filter capturing micro-particles and fine smoke down to 0.3 μm.
Activated Carbon Filter: Adsorbs chemical vapor, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and pungent odors.
Main filter with Activated carbon:Nano composite carbon with molecular sieve can absorber toxic and harmful gases.97% odor cleaning rate.
Q7: What is the average lifespan of each filter element?
A: Filter longevity depends on usage frequency and contaminant concentration. Recommended replacement intervals:
Pre-Filter: 1 – 4 weeks (inspect regularly; replace when visibly dark or clogged).
HEPA Filter: 3 – 6 months.
Activated Carbon Filter: 6 – 9 months.
Main filter: 6 – 12 months.
Q8: How can I tell when it is time to replace a filter?
A: Filter inspection or replacement is recommended under any of the following conditions:
Noticeable drop in suction power: Indicates dust loading and resistance in the Pre-Filter or HEPA filter.
Odors at the air outlet: Indicates adsorption saturation in the activated carbon stage.
Buzzer Alarm: (On models equipped with airflow obstruction alarms) The unit emits an audible signal when internal static pressure exceeds normal operating limits.
Section 4: Troubleshooting
Q9: What should I do if the unit fails to turn on?
A:Verify that the power cable is securely plugged into a functioning electrical outlet.
Inspect the fuse located near the power inlet and replace it with a spare if blown.
Ensure the cabinet door latches are securely closed (safety micro-switches may cut power if latches are disengaged).
Q10: What should I check if suction power suddenly decreases?
A:Inspect the flexible extraction duct for sharp bends, cracks, or internal blockages.
Ensure the extraction hood is positioned close enough to the fume source (<10 cm recommended).
Open the top hatch and inspect the Pre-Filter pad; replace it immediately if heavy dust buildup is present.
Q11: What is your warranty policy and how are spare parts handled?
A: We offer a 1-Year Warranty on the main unit and motor (excluding consumable filters). In case of any technical defect, we provide free replacement components and 24/7 online video/technical support for your engineering or service team.
Q12: Do you support OEM/ODM branding for overseas distributors?
A: Yes! As a direct source manufacturer, we offer comprehensive OEM/ODM services, including: Silk-screen logo printing on the machine body and hood. Customized outer housing color schemes. Custom branded box/packaging design. Regional power cords and plugs (US, EU, UK, AU, JP standards).
Q13: Does the FES350 have international safety certifications for customs clearance?
A: Yes. The machine is fully certified with CE, RoHS, and FCC. Additionally, we provide complete MSDS reports for the activated carbon filter, ensuring smooth international shipping and customs clearance worldwide.
